A revival of Moroka legacy – New Generations

Mfundi Vundla has dropped a hint of what soapie addicts should expect in his sequel of the soapie, Generations: The Legacy on SABC1 today at 8pm.

Vundla said he was hopeful the backlog would be alleviated by March next year.

Speaking on radio yesterday, Vundla said he and his production team have created a story line centred around the popularity of the Moroka family legacy, with a younger generation of the patriarch’s grandchildren in major roles.

He said the revival of the soapie’s leading characters Karabo Moroka, played by Connie Ferguson and Tau Mogale, portrayed by Rapulana Seiphemo, was a continuation from the old Generations.

Vundla said, just like any sequel, there would be a link from the old to the new.

He said the shooting of the new soapie was behind schedule and actors were working around the clock to meet the deadline and deliver to the SABC.

Vundla said he was hopeful the backlog would be alleviated by March next year.
